You will NOT be bombarded with email - we are as frustrated about spam as you probably are.  In fact, this list uses Double OPT-IN techniques - no subscription is accepted until YOU confirm you intended to join.  NO ONE ELSE can subscribe your email address without your knowledge AND permission!
